There are two things in this world that I refuse to do: Beg and wait in line. Sadly, I have done both at Chipotle Mexican Grill. Now, If you know anything at the popular burrito chain, you know their salad dressing is the bomb. That being said, you may also know how stingy they can be with their special sauce. Before I started making my own chicken fajita salads, I would visit Chipotle Mexican Grill weekly for my fix. My constant request for “extra dressing” made me feel shameful. Was I the only person dissatisfied by the teaspoon portion of their Chipotle-Honey Vinaigrette?
I recently decided that enough was enough. My goal was to find this salad dressing recipe and make my own. You can find almost anything on the internet. Not only did I find the copycat vinaigrette recipe in seconds flat, but I also had all of the ingredients on hand. Add this vinaigrette to this delicious 6-Ingredient Chicken Fajita Salad.
Breakfast Jam, condiment, and sauce recipes are so quick and straightforward to make. One of the reasons I was determined to find and make this recipe was greed. I’m very greedy when it comes to my salad dressing. I know people who like to dip their salad in dressing, but I prefer a sauce-y salad. Regardless of how you prefer your salad, this vinaigrette will make it 10x better. Adding it to other, premade salads and meals is a win also.

I’d been waiting to get to the store and purchase the ingredients for this. I wanna eat it now on my chicken bowl but I’ll wait until lunch tomorrow! It was a little too spicy for me but I just added an additional tablespoon of honey and that mellowed it out.
Thanks for sharing this!
This is such a great and honest review. I need to update the post with a spice level note. Can’t wait to hear what you think tomorrow!!!
So when I realized this was the copycat to a dressing I loved and haven’t had in a while. I couldn’t wait to make it. I almost picked up Goya chipotle peppers but remembered they are cancelled in my kitchen. HEB has a San Marcus brand 3.5 oz can that worked just fine and it had about 3 peppers which was perfect for this recipe since I only needed 2. Y’all when I tell you this dressing is the bomb. I made a fajita steak salad and poured this on top and was in heaven. Now I have left over dressing for the week. So I’ll be having salads this week. Thanks for sharing this recipe. I really enjoyed how this dressing came out.
This comment made my day. I need to update the link and remove the Goya!!
