Mia Bella Trattoria opened its Greenway plaza location a little over a year ago, and like the slow poke I am, I’m just getting around to visiting. During a recent Happy Hour at Mia Bella I was quite impressed. The Italian bites and beverages were very affordable, the chic ambiance and front patio were super cute and there’s free parking. The Restaurant
There were once quite a few Mia Bella Trattoria locations in Houston, but now there are only two locations. The Downtown location and the newest Greenway Plaza space. My first visit to Mia Bella was a looonnggg time ago. Some friends and I convened at the downtown location for drinks. I remember quite vividly complaining about how “old and dusty” the place was. I even challenged why the hell my friend choose this place?! Well it was because of the Happy Hour prices, lol.
The Greenway location is totally not dusty! It’s beautiful. The low ceilings and elegant, sizable bar and huge front glass windows easily sets the locations apart. What I really appreciated was the different seating options. The dining space is filled with long couch like banquettes for groups, bar styles seating for those only joining for happy hour, tables of four for more intimate dining, and a private nook and wine room in the back. Mia Bella’s Greenway location is perfect for everyone!
Happy Hour at Mia Bella Trattoria
Although I don’t get the chance to Happy Hour as much as I used to, I was happy to have spent this evening at Mia Bella. Happy Hour Menu at Mia Bella Trattoria includes Bellinis, Texas Mules, Sangria, House Wines, Roasted Cauliflower, Truffled Risotto, Pizza Pies & more! Mon-Fri, 2-7 pm.
The prices for these items range from $4 – $8 dollars. Those prices allow you to really mix it up. I suggest the Truffle Risotto, Chicken Blanca, Chef’s Board and the Truffle Croquettes (not on happy hour menu, but worth the extra coins.) Though I did not imbibe from the Happy Hour beverage selection (lately, if I do drink I prefer prosecco with a splash of St. Germain) I heard rave reviews of the margarita and red Sangria.
In Closing
Happy Hour at Mia Bella Trattoria checks all the boxes for me. They also have reverse happy hour on Sundays!
