You can’t celebrate National Beer Day with out a nod to Beer Market Co. Mainly because of their vast assortment of over 365 bomb ass beers. Their pub fare isn’t bad either. Given the wide array of beer options, I suggest you try something different each round. Green Flash has a Double Stout that I am in love with. Pro-Tip: Pair your favorite beer with BMC’s Brew Pretzels + Real Ale “HANS PILS” Cheese Dip. A creamy velvet cheese dip with “Hans Pils” craft beer & roasted garlic, served alongside warm pretzels.

Looking to enjoy a little sunshine with your beer? Hop on over to Buffalo Bayou Brewing! Due to the fact that I haven’t been this year, I am not sure which food truck is on property. Though, I believe it’s GastroPunk. Pro-Tip: B3 offers brewery tours on the weekend and happy hour on Friday’s from 5 to 9 pm.
CALHOUN’S ROOFTOP BAR & GRILL

Though located on the University of Houston Main campus, it’s still a great place to celebrate. It’s open to the public and has one of the best views of the city from its rooftop. As a UH Alum, of course their exclusive, Red IPA – “Brew of H” comes highly recommended. Pro-tip: Five words Brew of H, Go Coogs!

8th Wonder Brewery is easily one of my favorite places in EaDo. Anyplace that goes H.A.M for Houston is where you can find me! Everything from the theme of this joint to the names of each beer screams H-Town. They have a rocking new patio space and a fun lineup of events to check out. Pro-tip: You can never go wrong with “Dome Faux’m” their throwback cream ale. It’s perfect for warm weather and goes down like agua.

This Katy gem has been on a few of my lists. A great place to celebrate National Beer Day if you live in Katy (Cinco Ranch area). First of all, they’re menu offers paring suggestions. As a result, feel free to switch it into auto-pilot and go with the house suggestions. They’re usually spot on! Pro-tip: Pairing the Belgain Waffle Smore’s with Left Hand Brewing’s Milk Stout, will be the best decisions you’ve ever made.
