THE FOOD
Though I love a good waffle and mimosa, I rarely get to enjoy them during brunch. Honestly, I usually enjoy them from the comforts of my kitchen and couch. This is all about to change because I can enjoy Friday Brunch at The Union Kitchen.
If you have a flexible work schedule (like moi), I suggest starting the weekend off with Friday brunch at The Union Kitchen during the lunch hour. Then you’re free to bar hop until dinner time. This was totally my life before the baby. The Union Kitchen menus boast of your favorite brunch fare and boozy cocktails.
Patrons will find a mix of both savory and sweet items on the menu, in addition to boozy brunch cocktails. Their Buttermilk Fried Chicken and house prepared biscuits are the BOMB. As well as their powdered sugar and caramel drizzled beignets.
BOOZY BRUNCH COCKTAILS
Don’t forget about the adult beverages during Friday Brunch at The Union Kitchen! They offer $2 mimosa (orange, pineapple and cranberry) by the glass and $10 carafes. Their $5 “Rojo Sangria” is off the chain (back in my heyday I could knock back a few) and is guaranteed to start your weekend off right.
PARKING & SEATING
The Washington location has a complimentary parking garage attached to the building and they offer valet. If the weather is nice their spacious wrap around patio should be your afternoon landing spot!
