‘Roots and Resilience: Nourishing with Food Allergies’ is a new video series under our Black People Like Me initiative that explores the impact of food allergies on daily life within the Black community.
Food allergens are present in various non-edible products we use daily. From soaps and creams to playdough, slime, and even disposable plates and cups, these seemingly harmless items can threaten children with food allergies Always read labels to ensure that the products are safe.
